about sculpture

These sculptures use textile structure and materials to create forms rendering liquid like movement and the reflection of light emitted off and through their surfaces. This was the vision, expectation and challenge presented to me by the body of work represented on this page. I desired to take the teardrop form of my previous work out of rigid opacity and into transparent viscous movement.
